Tackle It Tuesday

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

Today is going to be such a fun day. I bought a sewing machine two years ago. I don’t know how to use most of the features it offers and that seems like such a waste of technology. I want to know how to use every feature offered and so I signed up for a lesson. I will be heading to the sewing shop to have a one on one instructional time. I am sure my head will be buzzing with all the information I will learn. I’ll be sure to write stuff down as I tackle this project. I hope to keep myself from buying any fabric while I am in the shop. They have the most beautiful projects hanging all over the store that entice me to buy, buy, buy.

I tend to think of tackles as the not-so-fun cleaning stuff but I like the idea of a fun tackle. And anything to do with crafts is fun in my book. Good luck!

That is so cool and a really great idea for a tackle!

I just bought a sewing machine this past weekend and I can’t wait to find the time to figure it all out. A lesson is a really great idea.

I hope you have a wonderful time and learn a lot!

Sewing is so much fun! It is a great way to exercise your creativity. Hope you have fun in your sewing class; it doesn’t take long to pick it up, and then you’ll be making your own creations.

Way to go! My poor, lonely sewing machine has been collecting dust for most of the last year. What I really need to do is take a class like you!

What a fun tackle! I got a sewing machine last year for my birthday and I made several things (including 2 dresses for my DD), but when we moved last July, I packed it up and haven’t unpacked it yet. Hope you enjoy your lesson!

Oh you will not regret signing up for this class. I am sure you will learn a lot. I had a machine for 10 years before I had lessons, now I sew everything. I wish I had done it years ago!

Oh, this tackle is near and dear to my heart. I just got a new sewing machine myself; I will take a class on it, but I also have an expert sewing friend and she is going to give me a one-on-one free sewing class. Yay! I hear you on not wanting to buy all of the fabric. That is my current addiction.

I’m emberassed to admit that the sewing machine I bought myself for Christmas is still in the box. My New Year’s resolution was to learn how to sew an apron myself. I’m gonna have to tackle that eventually! :D For now, I’ll stick to my sunflowers.

Oh no! You need to sew something! It is hard when you have small children though. I didn’t sew for many years.
