Spring Cleaning

Published by at 10:42 am under a bit of everything

It is worth every dime I spend to have someone clean my house. I wish they could do it more often but as it is, everything is maintained. I need to take a day and wash windows, wood shutters and repaint our bedroom. I work full time so it is not always easy to keep on top of keeping this house clean. I hear my mother in-law talk about spring cleaning and I get the impression that this was an organized task that was done once a year. That isn’t happening at my house. Hopefully, it will be warm enough to start working outside. I want to get my flower beds mulched and see what comes up this year. It is always a treat to see what survived through the winter.

I always wonder what will pop up from the ground after a long winters nap, seeing the peeking of Daffidiles, Crocus and Tulips are my favorite in the Spring. Then my most favorite of all seasons is Fall. I love the cool breezes and the touch of Summer lingering most of the day and the beauty, festive colors of all the leaves.

Housecleaning has always been one of my favorite things to do. I worked for many years away from my home, raising four children and then helping them raise theirs. Now, I have an opportunity to dig in and keep my home in some manner of order (not much) I am ready for the blessings of all my children and grandchildren…..and now a lovely little great grand daughter, Ava to visit granny and grandpa. Have a blessed day. Carol

I have also started spring cleaning but refurbishing my home office, I now have two monitors instead of one which is great as I can spread everything out. Thanks for the great post as usual.
