Heads up! There is a new art form that has been infesting the web: “Viral Videos”. The Viral Film Festival began in 2004 and quickly outgrew it’s venue. It is being held in a large arena in New York City on April 28th 2008. It will showcase the best national and international short films in narrative, animation, documentary and experimental categories. Spiraled by the belief that traditional marketing has run its course, the festival is a way to showcase alternative marketing solutions to major brands. The alternative, viral video revolution has created a new marketing vehicle that has sparked more interest in those who, like me, are tired of the same stuff thrown at us.
