Four Foods On Friday #21

Published by Karen at 6:53 pm under Four Foods on Friday

I am packing a weeks worth of blogging into two days because I am leaving tomorrow night to attend a quilt fest in Tennessee. Here is my Four Foods on Friday. Thanks Val, for having this up so early!

#1. What’s your favorite fruit and how do you like to eat it?

I love fresh peaches. I wash the peach and slice it because if I bite into it the juices run down my chin and that is just disgusting.

#2. What is the one spice in your kitchen you use more than any other? Italian herbs

#3. Pudding. Instant, stovetop or premade? instant

#4. Share a recipe using potatoes.

I make a pretty good potato salad.

I boil 10 – 12 medium potatoes and then remove the skin.
After they have cooled, I cut them into cubes.
I chop up 6 boiled eggs and add to the potatoes.
I then add about 1 cup of Miracle Whip, yellow mustard and pickle juice.
Sometimes I add chopped celery. My kids don’t like onions but you can add them.
Sprinkle with a little salt and paprika.

I find it freaky that so many times we have similar answers! Italian seasonings is my most used spice too!

Adding eggs to the potato salad, huh? I make mine plain but yours definitely sounds more interesting. I’m going to try that :)
