Another Year Celebrated
What a fun birthday I had. My son made me a wonderful red velvet cake. We each had a piece when we spent the night there on our way to Florida. We spent the second night of our trip in Macon, Georgia. We ate at a Mexican restaurant and they had a band playing. That was a hoot! It was hard to get to sleep after that. We headed out and made it to Stacy’s early in the afternoon on Thursday. We ate at a hibachi grill that evening and Stacy introduced me to sushi. I could not swallow it. Darn gag reflexes. We were well into our vacation and having a great time.
On Friday, which was my birthday, we went to my husband’s favorite knife making shop at Randall Knives. We were a bit disappointed as we were barely acknowledged after walking in the door. Even after telling how far we had driven they barely gave us a nod of the head. Gettin’ too big for their britches maybe.
We had time to kill so we stopped in at the company I write for and got a tour of the office. Then off we headed to Epcot where we walked until I thought my legs were going to fall off. It was so much fun and a great place to visit.

I’m so glad you had fun! Some of those restaurants sounded great!
Sad to hear about the Randall Knife encounter. I’ve always appreciated their work, but maybe you’re right that they’re getting too big. I know their waiting list is 5 years long!
