Great Movie

Published by at 12:52 am under entertainment

We just finished watching The Last Legion. What a great movie! I only listened because I was sewing quilt blocks but I caught the major points. I think I missed some gory parts so that is a good thing. LOL It is rated PG-13 because it has some violent scenes. The movie is about Romulus Augustus and his search for a legion of supporters. At age 13, Romulus is to be crowned emperor. King Odoacer has other plans and attacks Romulus’s country, killing his father and mother. Romulus is is engaged in a fight for land investment as he embarks on a dangerous voyage to regain control with the help of his teacher–the wise mystic Ambrosinus.

I enjoyed the loyalty shown by the countrymen. There were light, funny moments especially when Mira strutted her stuff. Some things were a bit over the top but overall it was a good movie.

I did not find this movie all that entertaining. You are right on the few funny parts, it made the time pass faster. Some parts were over the top indeed.
