Whenever I notice a purple heart emblem on a license plate, I say a silent thank you because the driver of that car did something honorable to earn that medal. The purple heart is not given to everyone. On that note, I am pleased that a fellow blogger is creating a blog where recipients can be honored. This blog gives the option to blog about a friend, family member and/or loved one who has received this great honor. Our Precious Gift website will be a site that honors names of people who have gone the extra mile to make sure our freedoms are kept free. This will be the largest Internet list of soldiers awarded with medals.
