all over the Internet! Oh my goodness! Do you realize that when Drew puts a picture on his Photo-A-Day, it shows up on a zillion blogs? At least it seemed like I saw my face on that many blogs today. Yikes! My friend, Tina, is with me in the picture and we are standing in front of a quilt that my mom made.

Drew was able to stop by my house yesterday. We talked and talked about everything. I only wish we could have had more time. My husband, Lynn, and I are already wanting to visit Drew and his family so we can see all the cool things he told us about. Of course, it would be nice to sniff little Eva’s head too.

I know you are getting sick of hearing that I cleaned out my basement. I cannot help but talk about it! It was a miracle that it got done and I am enjoying being able to find things. Not to mention all the money I am saving now that I know we already have a years supply of tp, paper towels and deodorant.

I ran across some things I did not know I had. Sorry, Gloria. I DID have those golf clubs you asked about. While in that same closet, I ran across an old suitcase that I was sure held maternity clothes. Was I ever surprised to see what was in there! I took a picture. I have no idea why the toilet paper is in there.

Two more sleeps until Lost!!! I just finished watching Season 3 on dvd. I am so confused. My friend, Courtney, has been trying to figure out how things are connected. I wish more people would take the initiative shown by the advertising agent for our local radio station. He has been diligent in getting our store’s name broadcast over the radio. I never was interested but he has taken the extra step to find a niche that our product fits. It has been working. We have had customers come in because they heard our ad.

There were times that I thought I might be interested in radio advertising but I didn’t like all the work I had to put into getting our ad made. This salesman looks at our product and from a brochure, writes up an ad. He produces the ad and brings it in for us to approve. After we listen, he makes adjustments and we have an ad that works for our business. He does his job! Wow. I kinda like that.

While traveling to a friend’s house in southern Indiana, the winding roads reminded me of how much we enjoyed riding our motorcycle. These cold wintery days can do that to you. You long to have warm weather that allows you to get on that cycle and feel the wind on your face.

I was looking through my stuff when we cleaned out the closets last week. I almost put my leather jacket in the pile to give away. My husband just about had a stroke. He thought I had given up ever getting to ride again.

I suppose it is possible that I will get to put on a comfy Blue Marilyn Motorcycle Tee, my chaps and leather coat again to hit the road. I need to quit wearing that shirt so much or I will wear it out before I get the chance to ride. I tend to wear certain clothes over and over. Blue Marilyn has the most comfortable clothes without giving away style. I can feel good and look good. The best thing about my Blue Marilyn tees are that they are machine washable. There is no need to fuss over my fussy clothes.

Today is Lego’s 50th birthday! That makes them almost as old as me. Ha!

Did you have Lego’s to play with when you were growing up? We had a few Lego’s, some Tinker Toys and a few Lincoln Logs. I guess we wanted it all.

Legos were invented by Ole Kirk Christansen who lived in Denmark. He made wooden toys and began making Lego type toys in 1932. The word Lego means “play well.”

Celebrate Legos and go build a house or something.

I have had an empty cupboard sitting in my sewing room for a few weeks now. I guess I forgot about it until hubby asked me why I still had all of those rubber maids full of sewing and craft items sitting on the floor in that room. I suppose they were bothering him. Hrmmph! I finally put the things into the cupboard.

Oh my goodness! I had things in those totes that I had not seen for years. I was surprised to find disposable gloves, popsicle sticks, puzzle glue and all sorts of other things. I have probably bought more of those things over the years not knowing I already had a supply. I found yarn and knitting needles. I also found a crochet hook that I could have used a few weeks ago. I found doll clothes patterns and quilt books. I found my canning recipe book! Hurrah!

It is a good idea to look in storage totes once in a while.

I have been working on my blog for over a year now. I have used every avenue ever shown to me to increase readership. I have gained some very loyal readers and met some nice blogging friends. I am always learning new things. That is why I enjoyed reading Katy’s new blog post, Better Site Rank. If an established blogger like Katy is still working hard to improve her blog statistics, you can be sure that I am going to keep trying to improve mine. We can learn so much from other bloggers. Katy gave me a few more ideas to work on.
