Make A Dream Come True

Published by Karen at 3:03 pm under a bit of everything

spread-sunshine-badge.jpgThe following story is what Christmas and giving is all about.

Brittnie Pemberton is just a little girl. A homeless little girl. She and her mother have been living in a transitional setting while they work out a few problems. Brittnie’s picture appeared on the Salvation Army’s Pictures of Hope. The Pictures of Hope is a set of 14 greeting cards that are sold to benefit the Salvation Army’s homeless program. Brittnie’s picture appeared along with a short story about a dream she has of going to San Diego State University. The San Diego State University Alumni Association heard about her wish and decided to make it a reality.

Let us all remember that as we go about our daily lives, others are suffering. Let’s make a difference.
