Key West for Christmas
So, is everyone staying home this Christmas? We are very blessed to have both of our kids coming home this Christmas. In fact, Greg will be home tomorrow. He finished his finals and graded the finals for the class he taught and is done. I know he is looking forward to a nice relaxing time at home. I just wish I had a bed for him! If you remember, I turned his bedroom into a sewing room. We have a sofa sleeper and two couches so it is not as if he has to sleep on the floor.
Greg will be picking up Stacy at the Indianapolis airport on Saturday. She is flying in from Jacksonville, Florida where it is a nice 70 degrees. Crazy girl! This will be the first Christmas in a few years that she has been home. I hope she is in the mood to bake.
Next year I hope to be in Florida for Christmas. Stacy’s place should be ready for company by then. We would like to stay a few days in Jacksonville and see what is in her area. Then I would like to head to Key West. When we were in North Carolina last month, our hosts were telling us about their daughter’s wedding. It was held at Key West. It sounds like a fascinating place. I want to see if it is as I imagine it. I picture lots of pink houses, palm trees and lots of people walking around. When we were in New Orleans, we relied on our link to Trusted Tours and Attractions to guide us. We used their advice and saved money on swamp tours and walking tours of the city. I have them in my bookmarks so I can find great attractions and what to do in Key West. If the kids could keep Lynn distracted, I could finally get my chance to try parasailing. I tried to do that in Hawaii and Lynn just about had a stroke. I know we would visit the Ernest Hemingway home. The Attraction Package sounds good. It includes a lot for a low price. I love deals!
It would be so nice if we could arrange it so the whole family could rent a suite or stay at a B & B together. Trusted Travel eNewsletter has great ideas on how to work things out. Starting this far in advance should be a big help. Trusted Tours and Attractions are the experts if you want no hassle travels. You should sign up for their newsletter. I have found some great money saving tips and right now, you might win an iPod Nano just for registering. That offer ends December 31st so you need to do it now while you are thinking about it. Happy Holidays.

We are going to Minnesota for my brother-in-laws wedding right before Christmas, staying at home for Christmas and then moving to Washington right after Christmas where we will then go visit my family in British Columbia.
