We Could See
Last night, I had the girls over to play cards. It was fun having it in the new lodge room. I was able to set up both tables in the same room. We had a sub who had not played Euchre. She caught on and did fine. We actually played all 8 rounds. Sometimes we talk so much that we don’t finish the tally card.
I was concerned that we might not be able to see our cards very well. Hubby had me run to the hardware and buy a new light. Isn’t this pretty?

I like the light you installed in your home, I have one similar in a room in my house. One thing that caught my eye was the rifle on the wall behind it. What type is it and where did you find one in that style? I am also intrigued about the way you have it displayed in your home, is there any reasoning for hanging it (“upside down” it appears) in that fashion instead of the other?
Love the light! My daughter-in-law and son have one that’s almost identical and it really gives off a lot more light than the single bulb-type I have in my dining room! I’m sure your friends loved being able to see their cards!
That light is really pretty. It looks like you are really enjoying your new room.
