I have been sewing today on my snowman wall hanging. I have discovered that my sewing machine will do some stitches that I didn’t know it would do! It pays to read the manual. LOL

The snowman’s face has a mouth and eye brows that needed to be satin stitched. I thought that I would use a small zig zag stitch but while reading I found there is a setting for the satin stitch. It made it super easy to do. I sewed buttons on for the eyes. It is turning out cute. Now, I am ready to put the borders on.

I took a break to eat dinner. It is hard to believe but tonight I cooked! I was in the grocery and decided to make a chicken casserole. I picked up a can of cream of chicken soup and looked for a recipe. I found a good one. The recipe called for the soup, frozen vegetables, uncooked rice, water and boneless chicken breasts. I bought all of those and I actually cooked dinner tonight.

I went to the grocery to get snack for Monday night. I am having card club at my house. I also bought some pie filling so I can make a cobbler. I’m going to make the cobbler tonight to make sure it is a good recipe. My hubby is going to think I am sick because I am doing this cooking and baking stuff. LOL
