It took me a long time to get hooked on coffee. I don’t even get headaches or anything when I don’t have it now. I just feel like something is missing. I like to sit down with a cup of coffee and have “me” time.
When I was 20, I worked as a book-keeper for a furniture store. All the sales people were men. They drank coffee like they were fiends. I swore I would not drink coffee. After I left the furniture store and went to work at a bank I started drinking coffee. Those of us who don’t smoke need something to say, “Hey, I am going for a smoke.” I would join the ones who were drinking coffee. My coffee at than time was more like 3/4 cup cream and sugar and a wee bit of coffee. Now, I drink it full strength. No additives. Like I said, I can do without it though. I think.

I was a bit disgusted when my Mom lost some of her pictures she had saved online. She uploads her pictures to a popular photo site. I suppose they sent her an email to remind her that if she did not purchase something once in a while, her pictures would not be saved. I don’t know if she forgot to respond or never received the notice. Luckily, my sisters and I have most of the same pictures. Mom was able to get her pictures back.
The moral of the story: If you use the photo sites, purchase something every now and then.

I have used Vista so many times for everything from business cards to notepads. I even have a calendar with my dog’s sweet face on it that I ordered through Vista. They are a great company. I always look forward to getting my merchandise from them. Photo Cards are a great way to keep people updated on how your family is growing. Vista print has those and if you use this coupon code, “FreeHoliday” – you will receive 10 free custom holiday cards!
It will soon be 2008 and time to use a new calendar. I am pleased to have a code to use for savings on my calendar order. I’ll post it here so you can use it too.
Coupon Code – “FreeCalendar07”
You get one free custom wall calendar and all you pay is the shipping and handling charge.
I love Vista. I have already received a few free offers and deals and they still let me save money when they offer more deals. I already love them and they act like they have to woo me! LOL

Since I was a little kid, I have always been a stickler about brushing my teeth. I am still that way. I cannot stand to feel a coating of food on my teeth. I grind my teeth when I sleep. I thought maybe that was causing me to have headaches but now I know it was probably due to allergies. I still wear the mouth guard though. If I don’t wear it, my jaw tends to ache. Here are some important things to remember to have healthy teeth.
- Brush your teeth two to three times a day with a soft toothbrush, making sure you remove any plaque and food at the gum line.
- Floss each of your teeth diligently and slowly once a day.
- Use an over-the-counter fluoride mouth rinse after cleaning your teeth.
- Maintain a healthy diet with a lot of fibrous foods, vegetables, and fruits.
- Reduce or eliminate your intake of sucking candies, chewing gum, taffy, or any other products with sugar that may stick to your teeth.
- Try to keep from grinding and clenching your teeth, if possible, since that can cause teeth to become loose or chip.
Those are a few of the things I remember from my classes for dental assisting.

It is difficult to remodel a historic home and not make it feel as if it is old. The kitchen is the most difficult aspect when remodeling an old home. Most older homes only allowed a small amount of space for the kitchen. In today’s homes the kitchens are usually centrally located and are the hub for all that happens. During the 1900′s you did not want anyone seeing your kitchen.
There are limitations when remodeling a historic home. Keeping within the realms of the architecture of the home can be daunting when you want a large refrigerator and your washer and dryer to be in a convenient location. It is best to compromise and keep the integrity of the structure. How many times have you seen a historical home ruined because an out of place addition was built? That should be avoided.

I have begun to plan how to pack for our trip. We will be gone for only a few days yet I think it is hard to pack for this trip. I do not want to have to spend time in our room ironing our clothes. I have a nice hang up bag but I need to decide how mad I will be if the baggage handlers tear it up. Maybe I had better iron our clothes as we need them.
I know why we have always bought cheap luggage. It is throwing money down the drain to think your nice, expensive, luggage will be handled with care. Have you sat in your seat on the airplane and watched as bags are pitched onto the conveyor belt? It is not pretty.
I just heard that British Airways is not allowing some things to be shipped on their flights. No more surf boards! Darn!
