No Smoking
Our county is proposing a county-wide ordinance that would ban smoking in all public work places. The few exceptions will be home businesses, hotel rooms designated as smoking rooms, retail tobacco stores, private clubs, tobacco bars and outdoor areas of places of employment.
I am not a smoker so naturally, I think this is a great idea. On the other hand, are our rights being infringed upon? I have heard of some ordinances where you are not allowed to smoke in your own car!
Tell me your thoughts.

to ban smoking in all public work places is great for nonsmoker, but for people who are addicted to smoke their freedom get limited.
I am also a non smoker, and I am for a ban in ALL public places, but what a person does in their own car should be up to them, I don’t see how any such ban that would involve your own personal property can be enforced.
As far as a smokers rights being infringed upon, its a catch 22 deal, because as a non smoker, I have the right to breath non smoke filled air.
