If you know me, you know that I LOVE SHOPPING FOR FURNITURE! My husband’s blood pressure goes up when I even mention looking for new furniture. I used to work at a furniture store and it was a good thing I got a discount or we would have gone broke. That was thirty years ago and we have purchased many different pieces of furniture since then. Many people like to shop for clothes. I shop for furniture.

Mom has mentioned that when she goes out west this winter, she and my aunt need to buy a new sofa. I want to help them. They dread the thought of finding a new sofa. I love the challenge.

While looking for log furniture for our new “lodge” room, I came across some beautiful Wicker Furniture. American Country Homestore.com carries Yield House! That was my all time favorite furniture and specialty store when they were in Indianapolis. That was where I bought my mother in-law special gifts each Christmas.

I am so excited to have found American Country Homestore.com. They offer so many styles of furniture and unique gifts. I finally found a name for my favorite style of furniture, cottage furniture. I am always drawn to painted, distressed styles. Now I know what to call it!

Don’t tell my hubby that I am checking out their clearance section. I already registered to receive notifications of any online specials.

I found a braided rug for the “lodge” room and a floor lamp for my office. Somebody stop me!
