Jewelry Adds A Lot

Published by under a bit of everything

I saw one of my daughter’s friends when we went out for pizza a few nights ago. She looked so cute. She just had on jeans and a cute top but what set her apart was her jewelry. It made her whole outfit look complete. It was the extra touch that made her looked dressed up and as if she cared about how she looked. It is possible to get wholesale fashion jewelry that is cheap. I do not mean cheap as in “made cheap,” I mean inexpensive and made to last. Cheap Wholesale Jewelry has been in the business long enough to know how to find the best jewelry at low prices. That means they can offer us deep discounts we won’t find anywhere else. Do you need a pick me up? Do you want a new outfit but don’t have the money for one? Add a piece of jewelry. It is amazing what a pretty piece of jewelry can do for an outfit and your attitude.

Trick or Treat!

Published by under a bit of everything

Everyone is getting into the Halloween spirit today! Hubby and I just got back from eating lunch at the restaurant down the road. The guy who seated us was dressed like a vampire. Too funny! Here is our precious Charlie. She is gone now but she was such a good sport and let us dress her in a costume.charlie.jpg

Customer Service

Published by under a bit of everything

Yesterday, while doing some banking, I had to bite my tongue and not complain about the teller. She ignored the fact that there were two cars at the driveup window. When she finally came to the counter to wait on us, she gave a look that was not very nice. I guess we were bothering her. LOL She never said a word. Not even a thank you! Sheesh. Maybe she needs an enema.

Robert Goulet

Published by under a bit of everything

I just saw on CNN that Robert Goulet died while waiting for a lung transplant. Robert Goulet had a wonderful singing voice. I remember his voice as bellowing! What a gift. When he was a young boy, his father, lying on his death bed, called Robert to his side and told him the Lord had given him a beautiful voice and he must go and sing. His biggest role was as Lancelot in Broadway’s Camelot opposite Richard Burton and Julie Andrews.

He will be missed.

Cleaning Up

Published by under a bit of everything

Today marked the end of summer for me. I took all the flowers out of the pots and threw them on the burn pile. They looked so pretty last week but after a few days of frost, they were not looking so great. My clematis had grown bigger than I had ever seen them. I’ll have to remember to plant them again next year.

This is a weed that I let grow in front of our shed. It was so healthy looking that I couldn’t cut it down. LOL  It has the prettiest berries. Photobucket

Thinking of Gifts

Published by under a bit of everything

I need to get my kids to make out their Christmas lists. Going on vacation in November is going to push me into a panic mode for getting things done for the holidays. Stacy will be home too. It is going to be a busy time.

Greg was always easy to buy for when it came to Christmas gifts. This year he is working a different job. No more cufflinks and ties for him. At least, not for awhile. I really don’t know! I know he can always use new clothes but I have trouble picking out the things he likes.

Stacy is not easy either, unless I get her books. That girl loves books! She might need something for the new place she is moving in a month.

I need to think on this some more. They better get me their lists or Santa might not find them this year!

New Stuff

Published by under a bit of everything

We just received some new carpet samples that I am pretty excited about. They are florals. Not everyone can use florals but when they can it is nice to have samples. The new ones are in gorgeous shades of greens. I hope someone is looking for this very thing.rug.jpg

Managing Our Business

Published by under business

There are days when this business becomes difficult to manage. I suppose, it depends on how busy we are with customers. I am not complaining. I appreciate all those customers who rely on us to come into their homes and install new floors. They know we will do a great job.

I have been reading about a company that is determined to give solutions to make the day to day running of business smoother. ProActive Software is the only one I have found that focuses on small businesses like ours. They are strictly internet based. I like that! I’m off to check out more about this!

Read the following press release to see why I am excited to have found this company.

Press Release:

There is nothing like walking out of a shop, satisfied with your purchase, product in hand knowing that you have a face behind the sale.

The Internet in some ways has taken that assurance away from the customer and with the masses of choice only a mouse click away the thought of purchasing a product or service online can be quite daunting.

However, the software as a service (SaaS) industry in New Zealand is fast moving from futuristic idea to current day reality and companies offering SaaS are looking for ways to maintain the personal service which has been a big part of historical software sales.
ProActive Software has found great and personal service to be a key part in their success on the global stage.

CEO Julian Stone says customers have said they’re surprised to get such personal service when dealing with ProActive.

He says “Don’t make sales, build relationships. This is a necessary part of the SaaS business model. Look after your customers as they are the foundation of the business. It’s important to keep customers happy month after month to retain their business.”

Customers of their core product www.proworkflow.com, have told Stone that their dealings with people at other software companies, often based in the US, have been rude, lacked callbacks, with slow email responses, making many customers wary of using SaaS where they had little ability to have personal contact with their supplier.

However, Stone says when customers come across a company with good service, they tell people.

Stone has attributed ProActive’s excellent response time with sales and support enquiries to their customers satisfaction. When customers build their business on our servers and use our code they must know we will be there if something needs attention.

An average enquiry for ProActive, from point of contact, to response is typically 15-60 minutes, where most of ProActive’s customers had said average response times for other software companies was usually measured in days, not minutes or hours.

“If you want to make a sale, sell a good product. If you want to grow a business, sell good service. We’ve found that most referral sales now come in as a result of ProActive Software’s service,” Stone says.

As Stone says “ProActive have built their SaaS company they have always kept service as a top priority, knowing their focus would continually be tested and be drawn onto product development and administration.

ProActive Software knows it is extremely important to keep the level of service constant and high “Customers don’t care that we have ten times as many customer to look after, they don’t care we are on someone else’s problem, they want the high service level maintained – so as we grow we automate, simplify, and when necessary bring in additional resource a bit before it is really needed. It takes a while to build a reputation of not letting down customers, it does not take anywhere near as long to lose it,” Stone Says.

A note of interest:

Banks all over the world are offering different types of loans. People with poor credit find it difficult to get unsecured loans. Debt is among the major draining issues, that many people face every day and always look for better debt settlement while on the other hand public debt has become a complicated issue. Banks are offering bankrupt loans in order to drag the people out of their financial problems.
