I am so excited for our friends. They just refinanced their home mortgage loan and are now able to add some much needed space. This mortgage loan was much needed. They have a very large family. The extra space will allow them to have enough bedrooms for the kids. They will still be two to a room but that is better than 4!

There were a few times when they were tempted to get a cash advance from a payday loan business but were hesitant to do that. The route they took (refinancing their house) was a wise investment. They were not tempted to increase the amount of the loan to an amount they might be unable to repay. Sure, they could have used the extra money and put in another, much needed, bathroom. They chose to be frugal and save up their money. They will have fun remodeling that bathroom at a later date. Loans are great but must be dealt with in ways that are manageable. Don’t let your wants exceed your needs.
