The Prime

I wish I understood more about how the prime interest rate affects the economy. Some are jumping with joy at the prime being lowered. Others are upset because it was lowered too much. I read articles and each one says something different about the effect it will have on loans and spending.

I guess, all I can do is focus on how it affects me.
