Sometimes the time flies by when I am engrossed in a project. Yesterday, I was working on our accounting and I was so engrossed that it was 5:30 before I realized it. My watch said 7:30 and the microwave clock said 4:30 so I felt like I was in a candid camera scene trying to figure out what was happening. LOL The funny thing was, I had a customer at 5:15! If I hadn’t left the store open I would have missed a good sale. They must not have noticed our hours because they wandered in and began looking without any notice to the time. I don’t mind unless I have an appointment. Sometimes I have to miss an appointment in order to accommodate a customer. Some don’t realize how involved it gets to pick out their new floor covering. Just like with me and accounting, time flies right on by.
