What a beautiful day today was! We drove north to Portage, Indiana and went to the new Bass Pro Shop to see what we could find. Hubby was interested in getting a price on a Tracker boat. The style he has been drooling over is the Tadpole. He was disappointed to find that it has been discontinued. We enjoyed visiting nonetheless.

Portage is near Michigan City so, of course, we had to visit the Blue Chip casino! Hubby donated another $50 to the coffers. I made my trek to the Lighthouse Outlet Mall. I didn’t find anything I had to have! That is very unusual for me. I went in 3 different shoe stores. Shoes are my favorite thing to buy for myself. I guess I wasn’t in the mood to part with my money because if I like something it seemed way too much even on sale.

We saw a few deer in the bean fields. They are amazing to watch. I’ll bet the bean farmers don’t think they are very amazing.
