Ladybird is Gone

Published by at 7:55 am under a bit of everything

Now, that was a classy lady. It seemed to me that she was always thinking about the good of our country. A true southern belle. Maybe she had to be to balance out all that onry stuff her husband was up to during their marriage.

I love all the wildflowers you see everywhere in Texas. Did you know that she was the perpetuator of that endeavor? Well, she was and Texans and visitors can enjoy the beautiful highways with all the color sprouting along side of them.

She stood tall while her husband took over the presidency when President Kennedy was assassinated. It wasn’t any easy task because the Kennedy’s were held in the esteem of our country like some type of royalty.

She and Lyndon had two daughters. I’ll have to do a search and see what they are up to these days.

You will be missed Ladybird Johnson.
