Puppies and Water
My sister’s new puppy seems to be fond of water. She was determined to get on a floatie and sail around their pool. LOL Check out her post to see the picture of the little cutie pie.

I’ve been going over the post at 5 Minutes for Mom in order to learn how to use the trackbacks feature. This is my practice post. I wrote my post and obtained the link to 5 Minutes for Mom from the permalink at the bottom of 5 Min’s post. I then used the permalink in my post and but the proper html around it to make my words into a link.
Then I clicked on the trackback link over at 5 Minutes for Mom. I put that in my window for trackbacks that is a few windows down on this page where I am writing this post.
I’m getting ready to click the publish button and see if it works. I should see my trackback in their comments.
Edited: It didn’t work. boo hoo
Do any of you use track backs? Should I worry that I can’t get mine to work?

Retail Me Not is one of the most popular coupon codes sites on the internet. I would hate for someone to pay regular retail price for something when they could have saved money by knowing about this great site. The great thing about this site as compared with other coupon code sites is that the community, as in you and me, contribute to the site. I am excited to let you know that Firefox users can be alerted to discounts just before they buy with the handy Firefox extension – http://www.retailmenot.com/firefox.php. Instead of paying full price when you are about to buy something online, it will gently alert you of a coupon code that can save you money. I think that is the greatest idea since sliced bread! LOL
Just to show you how it works, I have checked to see if there are any codes to help me buy digital media creation software and see that they have an, adobe coupon. Woo hoo! How is that for being handy?
Maybe you haven’t had lunch and need a coupon from Papa Johns pizza
Are you saving so much money that you’re going to reward yourself with flowers? The savings are endless!

That silly Ted Murphy thinks he is doomed because he is turning 31. Sheesh! 51 is great! The kids are out on their own. I have control of the remote, most of the time. Life is good!

Here in the states we are very fortunate to have doctors and hospitals who, even though it might not be beneficial to their wallets, take the time to care for their patients. I’ve been reading a few blogs who have enlightened me to the fact that there are many places in the world where you have to wait in line for medical care. They also have said that the standard of care received is not always the best.
I feel very fortunate to know that if the need ever arises, I will have the best in air ambulance by a dedicated company like Aerocare. Their staff is well trained to handle special situations and they treat each patient as if he or she were a member of their own family. A nurse escort is provided to maintain the same quality of care in route to the hospital as the patient will get at the hospital.
I count my blessings to live in this great country.

While playing over at Side Step Travel, I decided to check out the activities button and see what Dallas had to offer in the way of things to see and do. I discovered that they have the Dealey Museum. President Kennedy rode in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza on his way to the Dallas Trade Mart. In the presidential car with Kennedy were his wife Jacqueline, Texas Governor John Connally, and his wife Nellie. Hundreds of well-wishers were scattered throughout the Plaza. Nellie Connally’s last words to Kennedy, “Mr. President, you can’t say Dallas doesn’t love you!” reflected the sentiment of the crowd.
We all know what happened that day. It would be very interesting to visit that museum.
We could go to a Texas Ranger’s ballgame. Oh! I see that the Dallas Cowboys play the Colts in Dallas on August 9th! You know, the Indianapolis Colts from Indiana, the state where I live. LOL
It looks like there are lots of things to see and do in Dallas.

These days, we have to be very creative in order to save money. The fuel prices have made it hard to stay within our budgets and so if we want to do anything fun, we have to find ways to do it for less money. That is why I am so excited to have found Side Step Travel. They search over 200 travel websites to bring their customers the very best travel values on the web.
I know that we will be heading to Dallas sometime in the near future. My sister and her family just moved there and I can’t wait to go visit! I’m sure that we can stay with them while we visit but hopefully we can get them to check out the hotels in Dallas and we can all get away for a fun mini vacation. I’m going to tell her about Side Step so she can find the best deal. I like Side Step Travel because you can add car rental and hotels to your search and find out the actual cost of a vacation.
I am in love with their Deals tab! Talk about wanting to go on vacation. Looking at the special deals in that section is making it more like a reality! How does this sound. $369 and up: Timeshare in Oahu with Luau and Diamond Head Tix. Oops. I forgot. I’m supposed to be checking out Dallas. LOL
I wonder if Dallas has a center that holds rodeos. See ya! I’m going to be playing over at Side Step Travel!

This is sad news. I just read on Cnn online that Chief Justice John Roberts suffered a seizure Monday, causing him to fall at his summer home off the coast of Maine, the Supreme Court said. Neurological tests “revealed no cause for concern,” the court said. Doctors said they did not know the cause of Roberts’ seizure.
Didn’t he have a seizure at the beginning or right before he was appointed to the bench? I wonder if he takes medicine and isn’t good about doing so. That can contribute to seizures. Stress can bring on seizures. A friend of mine has to be careful about stressing over things as whenever she does she has a seizure.
