Who’s Your Best Friend?
My friend Julie was telling on her blog about how she and her best friend Lisa met. It was fun to hear how they became best friends. I began to wonder, who is my best friend. I have a lot of really good friends but I’d have to say only one best friend.
My husband is my best friend. We started dating when I was 16 so we have been together a long time. We think so much alike. I feel blessed when I think of how well we know each other when since we were so young we were pretty naive. It could have turned out really bad since we didn’t know, at that age, what was important to look for in a spouse. We went on dates to the movies and ran around with my sister Grace and her boyfriend, Kurby. We fought when we talked on the phone because we never had much to say and it got us badgering each other! Somehow we made it through the first year of me being homesick and newly married. We have two children and have run a business for over 30 years.
He is a thoughtful husband and a great dad. So yep, Lynn is my best friend.

I actually thought of my husband as my best friend. He waled out a little over a year ago and I actually miss that friendship a lot. It felt like a rug was being pulled out from under me. Cherish your mom. Oh, that’s right. You already do
